The Hotel does not have a private parking and it is located inside the historical centre of Pienza, in the limited traffic area, so it is forbidden to reach the hotel by car. It is possible to park your car outside the city walls in public car parks. The hotel can only be reached only on foot with luggage. There is no luggage transport service.
To reach the Hotel and drop off your luggage you can park temporarily on Viale Enzo Mangiavacchi (for 30 minutes or 1 hour with the parking disk) from this street you can reach the Hotel in 2 or 3 minutes by walk.
PARKING AREAS:
It will be possible to park outside the city walls for free or payment ( reservation is not allowed)
(for free: white lines, gravel road) – (blue lines: pay and display) – (yellow lines: generally for residents and handicaps only)
We suggest to park the car on Via degli Archi, next to the petrol station and just in front of the supermarket coop (distance: 5 minutes by walk to the hotel). There are also many parking places on the left/right sides of Via della Madonnina street. These ones mentioned above have more parking spots for free.
On Via Mencattelli, Piazza del Mercato and Via Circonvallazione there are only “pay and display” car parks.
Please check always the information signs of each car park, if there is something written about the cleaning of the streets or the market. In some particular days and time the car shouldn’t be there to allow the cleaning of these particular places.
